ADAM LEWIS
Making a grand return to the Quad Cities after spending a year away, Adam is excited and proud to be a part of this wonderful company. Having spent over 9 years in the QCA, Adam has had the privilege to work with such companies as The Harrison Hilltop, MyVerona, ComedySportz, Playcrafters, The Prenzie Players and Circa 21 to name a few. Last year, audiences may have caught him in the critically-acclaimed production of "The Winter's Tale" as the jealous, heart-broken King, Leontes. Other favorite roles include Septimus in Arcadia, Kat in The Pillowman, Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing, Weasel in T-bone and Weasel, Robert in Don't Dress for Dinner, and Trotter in The Mousetrap. Mr. Lewis has a Masters of Fine Arts from Western Ill. University, where he just spent the year as a guest instructor teaching Graduate Shakespeare, Audition Technique, Characterization, and Theatre Appreciation. He, also, had the opportunity to act as a respondent for the American College Theatre Festival and serve as a mentor for directing and thesis projects. Along with his teaching duties Adam found time to direct Tuesday's with Morrie, play a drunk in Enemy of the Peopleand participate in WIU's annual Bring Your Own Play festival- a show dedicated to showcasing new playwrights and their 10 minute plays. In addition to WIU, Adam has served as an adjunct instructor for Black Hawk Community College and was an assistant professor at Bradley University in Peoria.
